Where can you buy Naked Smoothies?

Naked smoothies can be found at basically every grocery store, convenience store, and gas station. They come in a variety of flavors to give you easy, on-the-go smoothie options—without having to make your own and without the extra time, mess, or effort. You’ll always find them in the refrigerator section near the cold drink offerings, usually close to the checkout area. This makes them an easy grab for breakfast, a snack, or to add to a lunch… really any time of the day fruity drink.

What does the Costco Naked Smoothie Variety Pack offer?

The Naked smoothies I’m focusing on today come from the 12-count (10 fl oz) Naked Juice Smoothie pack, offered at a much better price point at many Costco locations. There are four flavors—three bottles of each—and they include:

  • Blue Machine

  • Piña Colada Machine

  • Mighty Mango Machine

  • Strawberry Banana Machine

Are Naked Smoothies good for you?

Naked smoothies can be a healthy part of a balanced diet—especially when paired with fiber-rich foods. Fiber helps slow the absorption of natural sugars into the bloodstream, creating steady energy instead of sugar spikes and sugar crashes. Those spikes and crashes are one of the biggest contributors to unhealthy eating habits today and can increase the risk of developing conditions like diabetes down the road. That’s exactly why sugary sodas and ultra-sweet drinks aren’t good for you.

With Naked smoothies, you’re getting something better than plain juice because of the added fiber and vitamins. But keep in mind: no added sugar doesn’t mean low sugar. These are fruit-forward drinks, and fruit sugars can add up when you're consuming them in over abundance.

To help balance that, try pairing your smoothie with things like whole-grain toast, whole-grain crackers, a protein-rich/low-sugar yogurt, or other foods that are lower in sugar and higher in fiber. Your body needs carbohydrates for energy—just in the right amounts and with the right balance of other smart food pairings to help you feel your best.

So yes, Naked Juice Smoothies can be a healthier on-the-go option when paired with whole grains, vegetables, leafy greens, real fruits, nuts, protein, and complex carbs throughout your day. And like anything else, they’re healthiest in moderation. Nothing is good for you when over-consumed. :)

What makes the Costco Naked Juice Smoothie Pack a good option?

I really love the price point of the Costco Naked Juice Smoothie Variety Pack. The bottles are also smaller at 10 fl oz with around 160–170 calories each. That’s the perfect amount to add to a balanced breakfast or snack—especially when paired with plant fiber, protein, or whole grains to round out the carbohydrates and vitamins.

Individually, these smoothies aren’t “bad” for you—but smaller portions of a variety of foods often provide a better mix of vitamins, minerals, and nutrients for you throughout the day. Healthy eating isn’t about perfection; it’s about balance and building long-lasting habits that help your body function at its best. It’s about being smart and eating strategically.

These Costco smoothies can be a great way to shift those habits—creating more balanced choices, saving money, and giving you four different smoothie flavors to rotate through and keep things fun/ interesting. :)

The Tasting & Reveal

I’ve tried a range of Naked drinks over the years, but I sat down and did a dedicated tasting session for this post to really compare the four flavor offerings in the Costco Variety Pack. I tasted each one, analyzed the nutrition labels, and ranked them from my least favorite to my most favorite—so hopefully the next time you’re choosing a Naked Smoothie, you can make a more health-focused (and delicious!) decision. Here we go:

4. Blue Machine

Blue Machine Naked Juice Smoothie from the Costco variety pack.

Coming in at number four is the Blue Machine Naked Juice Smoothie. This flavor is blueberry-forward, giving it a natural tanginess with a touch of sweetness—really delicious and not overly sweet. Nutritionally, though, this one ranks the lowest. It has only 13% of your daily fiber intake and the highest natural sugar content at 35 grams, which is 15% of your daily carbohydrates. With lower fiber and higher sugar, this smoothie is harder for the body to process compared to the others. It also doesn’t have as many added vitamins. I loved the apple, blueberry, and banana flavor combination, but I wish it were a bit brighter, more refreshing, and filled with more vitamins to compete with the others. A good option—but not the best option.

3. Mighty Mango Machine

Mighty Mango Machine Naked Juice Smoothie from the Costco variety pack.

In third place is the Mighty Mango Machine. Naturally, mango makes this smoothie higher in carbohydrates, and it comes in second for sugar content at 34 grams. The flavor leans sweet with a hint of acidity from the lemon and orange juice. Nutritionally, it shines with 130% vitamin C, 70% B12, and 80% pantothenic acid—great for immune support and energy. The texture, however, is the thickest of the four. It’s rich, dense, and not as juice-forward. While tasty, it’s a bit heavy and could benefit from being a touch lighter to make it more refreshing. For me, that’s why it lands in third place.

2. Strawberry Banana Machine

Strawberry Banana Machine Naked Juice Smoothie from the Costco variety pack.

Coming in a very close second is the Strawberry Banana Machine. It almost took first! This classic combination pairs the slight tartness of strawberries with the honey-sweet smoothness of bananas. It’s refreshing, a little sweet, a little crisp, and has an ultra-smooth texture. Nutritionally, it offers 15% fiber and 15% carbohydrates, and ranks third in natural sugar at 32 grams—making it easier on the body with the help of plant fibers and 80% pantothenic acid for carbohydrate breakdown. With its bright flavor and stronger overall nutritional balance, this smoothie is impressive. It’s delicious, refreshing, and packed with supportive nutrients.

1. Piña Colada Machine

Piña Colada Machine Naked Juice Smoothie from the Costco variety pack.

Coming in at number one is the Piña Colada Machine Naked Juice Smoothie. This smoothie nails it: the coconut adds creaminess, the pineapple brings a lovely tart acidity, and the banana and orange juice round everything out with the perfect natural sweetness. The texture is creamy yet light and juice-like—not too thick—and incredibly refreshing. Nutritionally, it balances carbohydrates and fiber well at 14%, has the lowest sodium at 10 mg, and the highest vitamin C content at 140%. It also offers the highest pantothenic acid (90%), which helps break down carbs and fats while enhancing nutrient absorption—especially the fat-soluble vitamins made more accessible thanks to the coconut. It keeps you full, energized, and feeling good. Delicious and nutritionally strong—an easy first place out of these four smoothie options.

Final Thoughts

Overall, the Costco Naked Juice Smoothie 12-pack is a great option. It gives you four different smoothies with different flavor profiles, nutrient benefits, and textures—keeping things interesting and offering something for everyone. I’ve shared my rankings, but you might fall in love with a different one. My goal was simply to break down the flavors and nutrients so you can make an easier, more health-focused choice. Enjoy your smoothies! 🍓🥭🥥🫐
