How To Make These Smoothie Bowls

Step 1 - Add the raspberries, pineapple, blueberries, banana, spinach, almond butter, and almond milk to a blender. Blend until smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides of the blender as needed.

Step 2 - The mixture should be thick—almost like soft-serve ice cream. If needed, add a splash more milk to help everything blend together better.

Step 3- Once smooth, add the green mix and/or protein powder. Pulse a few times, just until incorporated. This helps keep the smoothie thick, smooth, and creamy rather than frothy.

Step 4 - Scoop the smoothie mixture into serving bowls and top with your favorite toppings such as bananas, strawberries, blueberries, granola, and a drizzle of almond butter.

Step 5 - Serve immediately and enjoy!

Pro Recipe Notes

  • Blend everything except the green mix and protein powder first. Don't be afraid to spend extra time scraping down the sides of the blender to help everything come together smoothly.

  • Add the green mix and protein powder at the end. This helps prevent the smoothie from becoming frothy or overly whipped and keeps the texture smooth, thick, and luscious.

  • Frozen fruit is the secret to the perfect smoothie bowl consistency. It creates a thick, creamy texture instead of a thinner smoothie-like drink.

  • Don't skip the toppings! Fresh fruit, granola, and almond butter add texture, flavor, and satisfaction that make the bowl feel complete.
